Verizon Xoom

The Verizon Xoom will debut Thursday. You can get it for $600 along with a 2 year contract and it will work on Verizon 3G networks, but its customers will soon be able to upgrade to 4G for free in the next several months. This new product is supposed to be the next worthy opponent to the iPad but is a long way from catching up since last year apple sold more than 15 million. Unlike the iPad the Xoom comes with a flash video player. The Xoom is also the first to run on Androids new version 3.0, which can store up to 32 gigabytes. But the price for the Xoom will be hard to compare to Apple's cheaper price.
